The grand opening of the “Meteor” club was just around the corner, and the incredibly luxurious place the girls had found for the next chapter of their adventure turned out to be perfect; to say it was a dream come true would be an understatement!

Located in one of the city’s oldest buildings, the spacious, elegantly decorated main floor of the club — whose architectural style evoked the Art Deco era — stood out with a unique charm among the many nightclubs, bars, and other similar establishments that had thrived within its walls since its founding nearly a century ago.

With a long history of renovations that kept it relevant for decades, “Starshine Hall” (as it was once called) began its story as a dance hall in the Roaring Twenties, became a hidden speakeasy during Prohibition, later transformed into one of the most glamorous gathering spots for celebrities in Hollywood’s golden age, turned into one of the hottest discos of the 1970s, and eventually evolved into a trendy late-night underground club — until it inevitably fell out of favor in the early 2000s.

When Kiki learned that the Hall’s owners were willing to part with the property at an attractive price — despite the building’s neglected state — she rushed to tell Zuri. The “Meteor” team eagerly seized the opportunity and immediately began planning what would become one of the most stunning renovations in history!

Now, after months of meticulous planning, contractor oversight, and ensuring every requirement was perfectly met, the most exciting part was about to begin… planning the grand opening! Would it become the most talked-about red-carpet event Kiki had dreamed of? She and her team agreed that to make the new venue truly trendy, they needed to create an atmosphere of glamour and luxury that would attract as many high-profile guests as possible.
