№1) We will need:
1 - a piece of fabric 90 cm wide, 120 cm long (for cutting on the bias - this way the fabric will not fray)
2 - two pieces of nylon lace 3.2 cm / 150 cm and 1.7 cm / 330 cm
3 - polyester thread
4 - pattern of the upper part (circled in red)
№2) Prepare the parts:
1 - cut three strips from the fabric in the direction of the diagonal weaving:
20\110 cm (A)
16\110 cm (B)
10\45 cm (C)
2 - cut upper part according to the pattern
№3) Sew the lace to the resulting ribbons:
1 - fold the edge of ribbon A by 0.5 cm and hem
2 - sew wide and narrow lace on both sides of ribbons A and B
(gather wide lace on ribbon A)
№4) Fold the fabric as in the picture. Iron the folds to secure them.
#5) Assemble the ribbons:
1 - sew ribbons A and B along the iron mark
2 - assemble ribbons A and B, shortening them to 45 cm
#6) Assemble the ruffles:
1 - sew ribbon A to the narrow half of ribbon C, and B to the wide half
(you need to mark the middle of ribbon C, leaving 6 cm on top and sew ribbon B to the top in the center, and 4 cm on the bottom and sew ribbon A)
2 - fold and iron fabric C as shown in the picture to get four layers of ruffles (ribbon A should be on top)
#7) Sew the top part with ruffles:
1 - make 0.3 cm cuts on the top of the "donut" cut according to the pattern
2 - tuck the waist line and sides and hem
3 - assemble ribbon C along ironed line
4 - sew ribbon C to the bottom edge of the "donut" in the center, as in step #6
#8) Sewing the skirt
1 - fold the ruffles with the right sides together and sew the back of the ABC ribbons. Hem the upper cut out part without sewing together. Make sure that the layers of fabric match.
The lower part of the back is joined end-to-end. Attach the button at the top.
