An action figure is a collectible figurine, usually made of plastic. It often represents a character in a movie, comic book, computer game, etc. Many action figures are produced in series and are collectible. Such figurines were originally intended for children, but over time the market shifted to adult collectors. The toy owes its name (from the English action - action) to the system of hinges (similar to anatomical joints), which, compared with static toys, allow the action figure to take various poses. In addition, the toy usually allows you to change the object (for example, weapons) in the hands of the figure, and in some models, clothes or even body parts. Individual models can represent prefabricated constructors. There are also unpainted (for self-painting) and / or "naked" (only body) models.
