Gloria Estefan has officially become a Barbie doll!

Today, the next doll from the Barbi Inspiring Woman collection became available - one of the most successful crossover artists in the world - Gloria Estefan. The doll is produced under the Gold Label™ label.

A legendary musician who has undoubtedly made his mark in the entertainment industry. Not only has she won countless Latin Grammy Awards, she has also been named one of the Greatest Female Artists of All Time by VH1 and Billboard (among other awards).
However, Gloria exclusively tells Mattel that of all the awards she has received in her long career, her portrayal of Barbie is "the best for me."
"I've been playing Barbies since I was little," she shared. "It was just a blast, and they were really, really detailed."
Celebrating the 65th anniversary of her 1989 hit song Get on Your Feet, Gloria's doll is a replica of her iconic fashion look from the song's music video.
"I wanted to emulate the torero jackets because my grandfather was from Asturias, Spain," she said, explaining the history of her memorable outfit, "and the combination of Moroccan with the Lebanese side of Emilio [Estefan's] family because he and I intertwined It's just one of my favorite looks I've ever had."
"I am well known in the Spanish-speaking world as a person who has preserved their culture. Even though we recorded in English and had pop hits all over the world, we never let anyone change our sound, our image and kept the Latinism in our music," she said. "So for a little Latina girl to see herself in reflection and say, "Maybe one day I can do something that makes someone make a Barbie of me, that's really cool."
