Meet Raven Rhapsody, the third doll in an unusual collection from Monster High and world-renowned fashion brand Off-White. A doll fearlessly spreading her wings, embodying the spirit of Off-White in an outfit inspired by the SS17 collection. Previously, the doll was already announced on the Off-White website and we wrote about it , but from January 19, this really fashionable doll will be available for purchase on the Mattel Creations website!
Like all previous dolls in this series, Raven seamlessly blends fashion with a new class of ghouls, drawing inspiration from real-life looks presented at the Off-White shows. Her ensemble consists of a color-block cropped hoodie, a sleek black belt bag, an asymmetrical pleated skirt, open-toed boots and a signature MONSTER hat.
The main "feature" of the entire collection is the packaging. Packaging designer Suzanne Lakatos shared the ideas and philosophy behind the design: "We created two display modes in one package," explained Lakatos.
"The first is display mode - remove the sleeve so you can display the doll and show off all of her features, including the optional ARROW earrings for Raven."
"Then there's the artistic mode of leaving the sleeve on so that the cut-outs serve to peek inside the doll's world and act as a magnifying glass to display each element of the doll and its accessories individually."
