On behalf of the BTHA, I would like to congratulate all the winners of this year's Toy Retailer Awards. This year's winners have demonstrated excellent collaboration with suppliers and demonstrated creative initiative in retailing to customers in what has been another challenging year. All our judges were impressed by the high level of submissions received and the achievements made in 2022 by all the retail finalists, who are to be highly commended. Congratulations must also go to our prize winners who, it must be remembered, were the best in their categories and I sincerely thank everyone for taking part.'
Alan Simpson, chairman of the TRA, added: "Congratulations to all the winners of the Toy Industry Awards 2022. The past year has been challenging for every business across the country for both suppliers and retailers, and it's an opportunity to reflect on how success can be achieved even in hard times. Congratulations to my retail colleagues and to the shortlists and winners of the Best Toys of 2022, and to the suppliers who created them. This year's selection committee chose winners that celebrate the richness of our industry, from popular and established brands to innovative newcomers, the year's big success stories and suppliers who make our retail lives that much easier. I wish the industry a happy and successful 2023.”
