Dia De Muertos
Dia De Muertos is a holiday that celebrates in Mexico and to a lesser extent in some other Spanish-speaking countries and countries with a significant Mexican diaspora (for example, in the USA, Guatemala, Honduras, etc.). The celebration, as a rule, takes place on November 1st and 2nd and is associated with the Catholic holiday of All Saints' Day, which is also celebrated on these days. The traditions of the holiday include the construction of altars in honor of the dead, decorating with figurines of calaver (skulls), in particular sugar ones, marigold flowers and various dishes and drinks.
