Vanessa is changing — and her workshop is also getting a new look. Now there are light shelves, thanks to which the space has become more cozy and comfortable.
I have long dreamed of wooden miniature furniture for a dollhouse. I even bought an electric jigsaw to work with plywood. But my attempts were unsuccessful, and the tool lay in a box for several years.
This year I decided to give my dream a second chance: I sold my electric jigsaw, bought a manual one and a few sheets of plywood. And a miracle - this time everything worked out! I made the first shelves myself. Previously, I had only made furniture from cardboard, so this was a new experience for me.
A few days of work and we can start painting. Vanessa helped, of course 🙂
I really like it when everything looks as realistic as possible in the frame. I tried to make the furniture like that, but this is just the first steps in working with plywood.
Vanessa is already laying out fabric and materials on the shelves of the new rack. There was even a place for a tiny sewing machine - I molded it from polymer clay.
And books and pencils fit comfortably on the corner shelf. Vanessa loves to leaf through books in the studio and get inspired by the costumes of fairy tale characters.
The plans include a few more details for the miniature workshop and new furniture. I liked the process itself: now I not only sew and sculpt from polymer clay, but also cut plywood with a jigsaw.
