Hello everybody!
I wanted to share my bandages with you. So far with puppets 🤗. I will note right away that the number of processes that are simultaneously active for me has always been considerable. I know that many people regularly struggle with shortcomings or try not to breed them. But it's not about me 😄. I always knit according to mood: today with thin yarn, and tomorrow with thick plush threads; today a doll's hat, tomorrow a blanket for children. This is what helps me not to lose inspiration for a long time, because I don't have time to get bored with the process.
I recently got a nice fur coat. I really liked the result, despite the fact that technically it was not done quite right. Let's put it this way, it seems to me that decent knitters don't do that 🙄. But the thread hid all the flaws. Here's what happened
It turned out quite loosely on the standard body. You can put on a sweater or vest. And if there is something thin under the bottom, then it also sits nicely on top. The collar was deliberately not made lush or large, so that a scarf or handkerchief could be added to the image. Maybe a hooded version would be nice too. The thread I used is called "marshmallow" by the seller. And so far I have only seen her in white. This is how it looks, #2 in the photo below, 450m/100g
For comparison, I also added 1 - mink (700/100), 3 - microvelor (800/100), 4 - microvelor (600/100). I could be wrong about the thickness of the velor, because I didn't think to mark it at the time of purchase. "Teddy's pouch" will arrive soon, it should be compared.
I tried thread #3 for the first time in canvas. I really liked it, it looks wintery, soft, pleasant to the touch. Suitable for knitting Kelly format dolls. I got such a scarf.
Who is interested, here is a 1*1 rice pattern, edge loops on the sides. The width is 15p and it is 2.7cm for me. I made the length 33 cm. There are a couple more pattern options that I would like to try. I also want a snood and a bactus or a shawl.
And now the question of the cap has arisen 😎. I usually knit some simple models and I don't always like the result. Often it is a cap based on the principle of a cap, spikes + pom-poms. But I like to crochet more. One of my favorite models is "kitty" 🙂
And although she fits a super old man, she is still more childish, in my opinion. I started looking for descriptions or MK of some interesting doll hats among Ukrainian puppeteers and masters and... I didn't find it. Share if you know where to look. For now, I took the description of a simple human model and adapted it for a doll. I want to try 2-3 options of threads, as well as different numbers of pp (air loop) for different formats of dolls. If everything works out, I will share the results with you. For now, here's what's going on
Here in the process, for one thing, I learned to make an invisible seam, a la "I don't sew, I'm a pigtail" 😄. And I took one more yarn for a test, let's see what will happen
Also, this selection of microvelor does not give me peace
This combination of colors is very popular. I saw what the canvas could be like on a scarf. I see here a very oversized sweater, without a neck, without elastic bands. I think it's not raglan, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if it's a spike or a hook. It's better to try here. The model in my head is simple, but so far I have not dared to approach.
That's all for now. But in the post, not in real life 😄. Maybe next time I'll show you something else.
Thank you for visiting my page. Peaceful sky to all of us!
