Greetings friends. A little about me and my work, let's get to know each other.

Greetings friends. A little about me and my work, let's get to know each other.

Allah, dear society.
This is the first post on this blog, so let's get to know each other. In short - Marina, I make miniatures, collect dolls and adore all kinds of crafts.
And then I will tell in a little more detail how I got into the hobby and how it all started

As a child, I was not very interested in dolls, but I liked playing with furniture and miniatures, so a "doll house" in my room was built regularly and replenished with all the assortment that was available on the market. So when I first learned about polymer clay, it was miniature food that was my first attempt at tinkering with it.

With clay, we found a common language right away and experiments began - figures, toys, decorations and, in the end, a miniature again. In the process of searching for new knowledge about clay and products made from it, the doll world opened up for me, with all its diversity. I remember looking at photos of bjd for hours, looking for what it is and where to get it. He appeared to me soon. Someone first buys a small doll or even starts with other formats, but that's not about me. 80 cm equipped with fangs, weighing almost 4 kg - this is how my collection began.

For some time, there were girls of BJD, but you know how it really happens ;)
Little by little, Barbie-like dolls began to appear (I need to try miniatures on someone). Then "just look" at the new format and you can find anything on the shelves.

When the dolls appeared, I wanted to sew something for them, although before that I said that I would never sew. The first experiments were terrible, but later something started to come out. In general, I like to do everything myself, so I like to try new things, be it clothes, wigs or make-up. I am interested in trying everything. Here are some of my custom ones

The only thing that has remained constant in the doll world for these eight years is sculpting. I continued to create miniatures all this time, began to participate in exhibitions, found many new friends. Of course, there were stagnations, lack of ideas and inspiration. But every time I pick up clay, I realize that this is what I really like to do.

So there will be the majority of miniatures here, but I will also share all the other puppetry that I have going on.
The plans for this year (yes, for a year, to spite everyone) include a lot of sculpting, making interesting decorative things, mastering a larger scale (1/3), improving my photography skills (that's my personal pain), as well as clothes and accessories for my dolls. Thank you for reading this pile of text and see you in future posts.
