Odile HRR06 Review by Mattel, 2024 💜💜💜

Today we are reviewing the second most anticipated doll from the new series of little mermaids - Odile HRR06 (mould without an open smile).
The doll is from the budget segment, so it comes in a minimal package - only a blister box with an unfastened doll inside. The stand is not included, so a stand from personal stock was used for the review.
By the way, we received a doll from Amazon in a very damaged box, which turned out to be a rather unpleasant surprise.

In order for the doll to fit in the box, the tail fin is supplied separately and is very simply connected to the tail. Also, the tail fin has two different colored sides.

The doll does not stand on its own, and in general - the articulation of the body is very limited: the head turns and bends, the hands rise up and to the sides, and the tail has a little articulation, which allows you to more or less sit the doll down.

Odile's only removable accessory is a yellow shell crown attached to her head with plastic pins.
But the most important decoration of this doll is its very cute and photogenic mold. What is her childishly cute profile with a small Carpathian nose worth?

Another feature of this particular Odile is her make-up, with which the doll is very similar to the characters of anime cartoons. The make-up is multi-layered, bright, made in a powder technique, which in some places almost turns into a pixel. Under different lighting, you can notice quite noticeable drops of either paint or fixative on the cheeks. Once upon a time, we were already faced with a similar phenomenon of painting in some dolls of the Fashionistas series.
Lips are very interestingly painted: deeper color inside, only a light shade in the corners. Such a gradient is also inherent in the style of anime

The doll's hair is simply amazing: soft (not kanekalon!), unvarnished, with high-quality embroidery. The hairs themselves are very, very thin, so you should carefully comb this hair so as not to break off individual hairs, which will then stick out as short "thighs" in the hairstyle. During the first combing, "extra" (unfixed) hair falls out, but this in no way spoils the overall appearance, on the contrary, after combing, the hairstyle looks neater.
After unpacking, the hair is slightly broken by the packing elastic, but it is quickly straightened with boiling water or just hot water.
There are several incredibly delicious shades in Odile's hair: there is gray as a base, and elsewhere mint and lilac strands, and, obviously, pink shades near the face.

The outfit of the mermaid Odile is completely molded: it is a bright "sea" top with straps and with a printed pattern, and a plastic tail with molded scales and a translucent rubber fin.
