Review of Ken Asian Dancer "The Movie", 2023

Today we are considering one of the most desirable Kens of recent months - Ken Asian Dancer from the bright series "Barbie. The Movie" of 2023 from Mattel 🕺🏻
Traditionally, bright for this series, pink packaging, the inner part of which, when unfolded, can be used as a photo background.
The doll comes with a golden stand and a certificate of authenticity.

At first glance, the guy impresses with his graceful Asian facial features and a very successful make-up on the Brandon mold. By the way, the style of painting the eyes is very reminiscent of everyone's favorite Neko ☺️

In terms of accessories and jewelry, the guy has nothing, except for his amazing moles on his face.

The doll has completely black hair, which, for some reason, in some promo photos seemed highlighted with a brown tint. The hairstyle is tightly varnished, so that the hair looks clean and without varnish, which begins to fall off over time - you can offer the guy a warm head wash with ordinary shampoo.
The quality of the firmware is very good, the parting is made on the left side, under the bangs.

The boy's outfit is a one-piece white and gold disco suit with a stand-up collar, and plain white sneakers. The choice of the main fabric for the suit is a little surprising: it is elastic, very thick and elastic. Therefore, the suit does not "sit" on the figure, but keeps its shape. You can even make an assumption that dancing in such an outfit is comfortable, almost like in scuba diving🙈 In addition, in the promotional photo we saw how the bottom of the trousers fit very nicely with waves on sneakers, and in reality, probably, the same because of the thick fabric, we have rough internal seams, a constant rise of the suit in the waist and short legs.

The top of the suit has a zipper that doesn't look very neat on the inside near the collar. But the extra seams, if desired, can be trimmed with sharp scissors.

A very beautiful, soft and shiny fabric is chosen for the sleeves.

The pants are decorated with stylish "golden" stripes and have functional pockets.

On the legs - comfortable and ordinary white sneakers.

The guy features an articulated body identical to that of the new green-haired Ken Extra.
Two-part joints in the elbows, knees, absent joint in the feet, but mobile bones of the hands.
There is no elastic in the hips, so it is not possible to spread the legs to the side, you can only lift them up. A shoulder joint is also available, which allows you to raise your arms to the side and rotate them in a circle.
The head turns right and left, but does not tilt to the side at all and does not raise/lower the chin.
The hinges are very tight, it is quite difficult to put the guy in creative poses for photography.

Looking at the promo photo, there was a suspicion that this Ken would have the same yellow skintone as Kira BMR1959, and the Made to Move male body with that shade, unfortunately, has not yet been released.
But luckily for those waiting, the skin tone of this guy completely matches the skin tones of the Looks blonde and the Looks 2023 hunk. So, there is even an opportunity to choose exactly what the Asian handsome will look like after hybridization😊

Of course, a guy feels much better on a mobile body. The seams on the collar are also trimmed a bit, so now it looks neater☺️
