Review of Rebecca Welton by Mattel's Ted Lasso series, 2023

According to the story of the series "Ted Lasso", Rebecca Welton is the new owner of the fictional football club "Richmond", who received the club as a result of a divorce. Rebecca wants to destroy the team because it's the only thing her ex-husband loves.

Rebecca's packaging has the same styling as Ted's packaging from the previous review. Richmond FC corporate colours, character history on reverse. The package also includes an exquisite certificate of authenticity, which confirms the doll's belonging to the Gold Label, and a black female stand.

B - Sophistication. This is the first word that comes to mind when you first look at this doll. Starting from a talented portrait sculpture and ending with crazy attention to detail when creating an outfit and image as a whole.

The face has an exquisite business make-up, very high-quality and detailed, without pixels and smoky gradient.
A pleasant smile and well-developed natural folds make the face very interesting, lively, pleasant and embossed.

Rebecca's sculpt can without a doubt be considered one of the most interesting in the history of creating dolls by Mattel✨🌟✨

Rebecca's sophisticated hairstyle is an "expensive" shade of warm blonde, gathered in a loose bun at the back of the head and generously varnished. The firmware is dense and high-quality. When leveling, the length of the hair, hypothetically, will reach the shoulder blades of the doll.
Separate locks that stick out from the bangs and buns here and there add a bit of lightness and playfulness to the severe image of the Business Lady. The bangs are fixed with a thread in the color of the hair, so it is almost invisible. It can be cut if desired.

For accessories, Rebecca chose dainty gold earrings and a pair of minimalist gold bracelets for her everyday look.
The earrings have stoppers on the inside of the doll's head, so they cannot be removed without effort. But the bracelets hardly stay on the hand, so there is a high risk of losing them.

In Rebecca's hands is a stylish white handbag, a kind of leather business shopper for a laptop and papers☺️
You should also pay attention to the fact that Rebecca has a gesturing right hand, thanks to which she can calmly hold the bag in her hand.

Rebecca's business outfit consists of a sophisticated champagne silk blouse and classic black flared trousers. Rebecca's blouse did not leave any collector alone who was waiting for the arrival of the ordered doll. And this expectation was fully justified - the blouse is incredible!👍🏼😍
Made of a fairly strong shiny material, it fits the figure perfectly at the same time. The back of the blouse fastens with transparent buttons.

The trousers are not far behind in quality, very neatly tailored and fit perfectly on Rebecca's graceful figure. The back also fastens with a button.

Stylish pointed-toe "boats" on high heels complete Rebecca's business look.

You've already noticed that Rebecca's bare arms look very sporty and toned. And all thanks to the fact that the creators gave her a body like a Super Hero. It's an articulated, athletic looking muscular body with elasticated hips, double-hinged elbows and knees, and a fixed, high-rise foot. Also, the pluses of this body include gestural handles with which the doll can hold any objects.

If the mobility is not enough - you can replace the Super Hero body with the Made to Move skintone body of yoga Millie in a purple top with a tail. By the way, in the photo you can also notice that Rebecca, like most collectible dolls from Mattel, has a very small head. The photo shows a comparison with the doll from the Extra series.

In our humble opinion, the Rebecca Welton doll turned out very well, as well as her partner in the series Ted, which you can see in the previous review.
Such a doll will easily become both a colorful character for games and photo series, and simply an ornament of a doll collection on the shelf❤️
