Mattel 2023 Disney Peter Pan & Wendy Set Review

It is with great pleasure that we offer for consideration a wonderful pair of dolls from the Disney “Peter Pan & Wendy Darling” set by Mattel, the release of which took place in 2023.
Bright thematic packaging box tells us the well-known story of the adventures of the main characters. Doll stands are not included in the package, so stands from other sets were used for the review.

It should be noted right away that the dolls are packaged in such a way that the difference in their height is not visible from the outside, but it is also significant😊 Wendy corresponds to the standard height of 1/6 dolls (29cm), and Peter has a height similar to the boys from the Harry Potter sets.

Wendy Darlin imitates the facial features of her film prototype - Ever Gabo Andersen (that's right - Milla Jovovich's daughter!).
In fact, there is some similarity, for example, the cute dimples on the cheeks☺️ But, in our opinion, the doll looks a little older than its real counterpart from the movie.

Wendy's very open and charismatic face has a fresh, light make-up and a lively blush.
And the girl has very nice detailed ears that stick out a little funny if you lift her hair.

You must have already noticed how gorgeous Wendy's hair is! 😍 Soft, naturally shiny, wavy, unvarnished, even with a few shades of brown! The firmware is high-quality and natural.

The girl is dressed in her standard outfit for night adventures, namely - a blue robe, under which are cute girl's pajamas and "leather" boots with laces (I agree, it would be less convenient to fly in slippers😅).
The robe is made of fabric that rustles and does not wrinkle. All the detailing of the robe is printed.

The milk pajamas are made from a very soft, pleasant knit, and the funny lantern sleeves and elasticated cuffs of the pants add even more sophistication and tenderness to Wendy's look.
The blouse has a thin neat Velcro fastener on the back, and the pants are gathered at the waist with an elastic band.

Wendy's leather boots feature small heels and detailed lacing.

Wendy's neck is decorated with a braided pendant in the form of an acorn.

Wendy has a very fragile articulated body with one-piece hinges at the elbows and knees, traditionally with molded underwear.

The feet are fixed, have a rise for the heels and very exquisitely detailed toes.
Wendy's pens are also "live", hinged and with beautiful nails.

Regarding Wendy's skin tone, we can say that she is as light as a new MTM tennis player, but a little pinker. At the same time, the skin tone of the Asian petite Lux is too pink for her.

While we were admiring the sunshine-Wendy, Peter got bored, it's time to pay attention to him too😊
So, the film prototype of our puppet Peter was the actor Alexander Moloney. In this case, you can safely say that the doll is actually a portrait 😅
A sly smile and radiant eyes make this guy unsurpassed😍

Natural "boyish" make-up pleases with its detailing and equality.

Despite the fact that Peter has Moldovan hair, his hairstyle looks very alive and voluminous. And once again cute ears cause a smile☺️

Peter's outfit fully corresponds to his story: it is a green forest suit, created as if from branches and leaves.
On Peter's head is a cute Robin Hood cap with bright feathers.

The blouse is made of thin material, also has a leafy branch print and leafy torn edges on the sleeves and on the bottom of the blouse. Fastens with a thin velcro at the back.

The pants are also made of non-knitted fabric, slightly shortened and narrowed to the bottom, for the convenience of putting on boots.

Peter's boots are a work of forest art, pointy-toed, "multi-layer", even with laces!😍

On his belt with a molded buckle, Peter wears his favorite saber, which he can easily hold in his gesturing hand.

The boy's wrists are decorated with two wide wooden bracelets.

Peter has a teenage articulated body with one-piece hinges at the elbows, knees, articulated gesturing palms, but with immovable feet.

In fact, Peter has the same body type as the boys in the Harry Potter series. Therefore, if this series is loved as well - Peter will have a lot of friends😊
