Review of Barbie Pink Collection, doll 5, Mattel 2023 🎀

Today we are reviewing a real pink "pearl" - the final, fifth Barbie doll from the exquisite series "The Barbie Pink Collection" from Mattel 💝
The doll belongs to the Gold Label, has an exquisite packaging in the form of a glossy pink box with a transparent plastic facade. On the side of the box there is a magnetic fastener decorated with a bow (it is not necessary to untie it 😉), on the back - information about the Pink Collection series.
The circulation of the doll is 20,000 pieces worldwide.
The doll comes with a certificate of authenticity, a care note and a pink model stand with rubber non-slip feet.

The charming tanned beauty was created on the Asian Kit mold, which perfectly fits the general concept of the image, which once again proves the fact of the genius of Carlisle Nuera - Mattel designer🩷
The girl's stylish plastic glasses are attached to the brackets with threads on both sides of the head. Threads are connected to the hair, so their removal requires increased attention so as not to cut along with the strand of hair.

The bangs, like the rest of the hairstyle, are heavily varnished, but when interacting, they break up very quickly into separate hairs, so those who plan to keep their native hairstyle should be ready to re-insert and fix the bangs from time to time.
The rest of the hair is gathered in a high ponytail on the top of the doll, then the tail is braided into a tight braid and twisted around the base of the tail, creating a very beautiful and stylish bun. This entire structure is tightly varnished.
The doll's hair has two mixed shades: the main color, which "plays" differently depending on the light, is "rose ash", the secondary color is warm blond.

In order to properly see the girl's interesting make-up, it was decided to remove the bangs, because it covers a large part of the face, or casts a shadow. By the way, such an "open" version of the hairstyle suits the girl very well☺️
It should be noted, and we hope that this is not an exception, but a regularity - we received a doll with a perfectly harmonious face painting, in our opinion😍
A seductive Asian sideways glance and a playful "bow tie" on the cheek are complemented by sophisticated, detailed evening make-up. The eyes are emphasized in the style of Smoky Eyes with bronze shadows on the lower lid and barely noticeable pearl under the eyebrows. Eyebrows, in turn, have elaborate hairs and a gentle gradient. Make-up is completed by lipstick of a pastel pink shade.
The macro camera sees a pixel in the painting of the eyes, but it is almost invisible to the ordinary eye.

The beauty's outfit consists of a separate top and skirt (yes, it's not a one-piece dress😉) and stylish sandals.
Pastel pink satin top with silicone straps and velcro back. The front part of the top is decorated with massive plastic weaving with inserts of precious plastic stones💎🤪The structure is fixed on the top with threads.
On the inside, the top is decorated with a mesh lining.

An evening skirt is the apogee of multi-layering 🤩
The main part is a narrow elegant skirt "to the floor" with a slit in the back.
The next layer is pink mesh - tulle.
The outer layer is a wide part of the skirt "to the floor" made of dense shiny satin.
And finally, the construction that adds volume to the back and just below the waist, which is sewn in the form of a voluminous bag.
All layers of the skirt are connected to each other in the back part of the product and all this is fastened with a metal button. It should be noted that this fastener is "secured" with a thread, so if you need to remove the skirt, you will have to cut it. It will not harm the skirt in any way, you can cut it safely.

On the doll's legs, in addition to a pink pedicure, there are stylish designer sandals that hold very well on the legs and do not fly off😍

Barbie number 5 from the Pink Collection series is created on the body of Model Muse (Silkstone). This body has very feminine shapes and at the same time only basic joints.

Of course, we became interested in making the girl as mobile as possible, and since for us personally, the Kit mold is inextricably linked with a short petite body, we chose it for hybridization ☺️
The skin tone of Barbie Looks petite in a blue-pink dress is perfect, so you can choose a body with a similar skin tone of a different build and height.
When removing the head of the Pink Collection doll, an interesting thing was revealed - it is very hard. It reminds the heads of those times when the hair was fixed with glue, which was poured into the middle of the head. Unfortunately, it was not possible to see what is inside the head of our doll, but when heated, the head becomes softer and there are no signs of glue on the hair from the outside. Riddle 🤷🏻‍♀️

We know that many people are interested in the question "what will happen if we take apart the hairstyle?" 🤔😁 That's why we took it apart, washed it off the varnish, straightened it with boiling water and are ready to show what happened 🤗

It turned out to be a pleasant surprise that the doll has a sewn part, it is enough just to spread the strands on two sides and fix them with boiling water😍

Another interesting surprise is the brown base of the head under the light firmware🤭
But, we remind you that the photo shows wet hair. When it dries and becomes crumbly and soft, the foundation will be almost invisible
