Today we will get to know an extremely bright and colorful representative of the world created by Mattel in the "Barbie: The Movie" series of dolls, namely Mrs. President 💝
In the tape that shook minds and hearts around the world, this heroine was played by the charismatic Issa Rae, and already at first glance we understand that the doll is not a portrait☺️
Mrs. President arrives in the bright pink and blue packaging typical of the entire The Movie doll series. On the back of the box with a reflection of the presidential office - a description of the series. The package includes a certificate certifying the right of Mrs. President to be in and rule the country in Barbie: The Movie, and a doll stand with a soft pink base and mother-of-pearl holder leg.
The solemn and bright look of the doll fascinates at first glance💗
The doll has a rather dark skin tone, so it will always require additional lighting when playing and taking pictures. We specifically decided not to artificially "brighten" her appearance so that this shade could be roughly understood.
Many fans of Mattel dolls liked Ms. President thanks to her incredibly cute, open face, as well as professionally selected purple shades in her restrained make-up, which perfectly harmonizes with the hazel eyes and chocolate shade of the beauty's skin 😍 The make-up is high-quality, not pixelated, but in some in some places the pixel was used to create gradient shadows and eyebrows.
The doll's hair is parted, twisted into curls and heavily varnished. Under a layer of varnish, it is not even possible to see at first glance the quality of the stitching and the shade of the hair. But we can assure you - the quality of the firmware is excellent and the hair has several shades, which can be seen in the photo below, which was taken after the President took a hot bath at the end of the working week. And this is how the hair looks as soon as you take the doll out of the box - hard, naughty, sticking out and springy at the roots.
Of the accessories, the modest Mrs. President has only a soft pink manicure, plastic gold stud earrings that are easy to remove, and a luxurious gold plastic ornament with flowers on her neck😊
The centerpiece of the Lady President's outfit is a formal pink satin over-the-shoulder belt with a gold tassel and a "President" sticker. We remember from the tape that Pani is very active, so the creators fixed the belt on her fragile shoulder with a piece of sticky double-sided tape (yes, yes, the same one that is difficult to peel off without a trace 🫣).
The exquisite tulle and shimmering satin dress shines gold in the soffits thanks to millions of sequins on the front of the top and on the upper tulle skirt of the dress. Get ready - everything around will sparkle, including you, because the sparkles will fall off little by little with any movement of the doll.
The upper "golden" part of the dress is also attached to the doll's shoulder with sticky tape. For sure. And suddenly Mrs. President will suddenly jump out of her outfit and then it will be somehow uncomfortable)))
In addition, the dress fastens on the back with a thin velcro. And in the same city, hemmed by hand with pink thread. Just in case 😁
The doll's knees are protected by cardboard clips.
Gold pearl sandals on precarious heels that bend under the weight of the doll complete the look. Also, you can see that the rise of the doll's foot is much steeper than that of the shoe.
It turns out that the surprises with sticky tape will only end when the doll is completely undressed 😉 The dress is fixed with two more pieces of sticky tape on the doll's chest.

The body of the Barbie President doll excites almost all fans of mobility, it is a real gift from Mattel - the body of the Female Super Hero type. Sporty, muscular, but at the same time fragile and mobile! 😍 It differs from Made to Move bodies only in the absence of swivel joints in the shoulders and hips, a chest joint, and a stationary lifting foot. The hips are fastened with an elastic band, which can stretch over time and need to be replaced.
But the aesthetics, "live" palms, two-part joints in the elbows and knees make this body a favorite for many collectors ❤️🔥
Regarding the hybridization with the Made to Move super-mobile body (yes, there are those among us who need MTM), we inform you that nothing will work at the moment 🤷🏻♀️ First, the head of the President has a noticeable dissonance with her own native body, and secondly, none of the skintones known to us are suitable.
In the photo below, to the right of Pani, Brooklyn is with Ashi's skintone, and to the left is the body with the next darker skintone. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find an intermediate option so far 🥺 If you have ideas, write in the comments, we will try together.
