Licca by Takara Tomy is a Japanese version of the Barbie doll for girls. It has a very long history, because it has been produced since 1967 ☝🏻🤓
According to the legend, Licca is an 11-year-old girl who lives in a large family consisting of mom, dad, grandparents, younger sisters and brothers, even dogs and cats. In addition to the family, Lika has a lot of friends and a wide range of various hobbies, thanks to which there are a huge number of different thematic sets of the doll with clothes and various high-quality accessories.
Today we will take a closer look at the jubilee release of the doll, dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Lika's appearance in the world, which was celebrated in 2022.
The packaging is very bright, multi-layered and informative. On it we can find a whole series of links to Likki's official blogs on social platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, as well as links to the doll's official website. Licca even has its own mobile number!📲
All Likka releases are combined with each other by the specifics of the mold and face painting. That is, looking at the doll, we will always understand that it is Likka, and not her mother or one of her friends. First of all, the mold remains unchanged, and the details of Likka's face painting are practically unchanged, namely, the eyes: the location and color of the "highlights", the direction of the gaze. At the same time, hair color, hairstyle, shade of lips and iris can change.
The painting of the face is very high-quality and smooth.
Lika's hair is high-quality stitched, soft, pleasant to the touch, shiny, unvarnished. But after removing the protective film that held the bangs, it remains broken and needs additional alignment.
By the way, the bangs are cut almost perfectly!😍
Licca is a small girl, her height on her native body is about 23 centimeters. To understand the format of the doll, you can look at its size next to the standard Barbie.
Likki's festive dress has a complex design, quite high-quality tailoring and consists of a successful combination of different materials.
Here is printed satin, decorated with ribbons and beads, and tulle, and shiny sleeves-lamps. The details of the dress can be considered for a long time and with pleasure. The dress is fastened on the back with a thin Velcro strip.
It should also be noted the neatness of the sewing of the inner side of the dress.
Also, a mandatory element of Likka's outfit is thin, almost seamless underwear.
On Likki's feet are delicate white socks with lapels and red bows.
This edition comes with two pairs of shoes - black "sock" sandals and red pumps with a small heel for bare feet. Both pairs are made of soft, pleasant rubber, easy to put on and look good on the feet.
Also, you should pay attention to the very convenient stand for the doll, which is also included in the set. The doll stands confidently thanks to being held in several places. Unfortunately, the doll cannot stand on its own. Rubber feet and rubber shoes do not hold the balance of balance.
Likka has a few more beauty accessories in this holiday set: a white hairbrush, two white heart hairpins and two red silicone rubber bows that can be used both as a hoop and as rubber bands for ponytails, pigtails, etc.
Likki's ears are adorned with red stud earrings in the form of hearts. They are easy to remove because they have almost no stoppers.
Likka's body has a plastic torso and rubber arms and legs. Sometimes you can notice a minimal but different tone between these parts.
In addition to the basic joints in the neck, waist, shoulders and hips, the rubber arms and legs are decorated with metal inserts inside, which allows the doll's elbows and knees to bend. Connoisseurs of the format claim that it is practically impossible to break such "joints" even after many years of active play with the doll.
The doll's feet and bones are still, but detailed. The foot has a slight rise.
Regarding the mobility of the basic body: the head moves perfectly and tilts in all the right directions. The legs in the hips only rise, but do not spread to the sides.
The elbows bend more easily and at a greater angle than the knees.
There is a huge amount of information about the hybridization of this baby on other moving bodies. Mainly, such bodies as Obitsu, Azone Pure Neemo are used, there is a choice in the height of the bodies and their build, therefore, if you wish, you can hybridize Likka very easily and for any taste. Of course, there are a large number of admirers of her native body, which feels pleasant in the hands, is of high quality and good quality.
We became interested in trying a non-standard variant of hybridization - with a body made to move petit🤓 Since Likka has a pink undertone, we chose an Asian from the Looks series. Of course, there is a slight difference in tone (the head is a little lighter than the body), but overall I liked the result. No additional manipulations with fasteners were required, the head sits perfectly on the MTM anchor even without warming up.

Our Licca has grown up a bit, looks just as fragile, but has become much more mobile☺️
Broken hair was easily straightened with boiling water and now it is even more beautiful and well-groomed🤩
