We continue the tour of reviews on the subject of sorcery, and today we have as guests two magical ladies 🤩🔮🪄 The magical emerald witch from the West of Elphaba and her wise mentor at the University of Shiz - Madame Morrible 😍 The novelty is hot as a fresh cake, because the release of the set took place at the beginning this month, October 4, 2024, and therefore we are in a hurry to take a good look at these beauties so that, in case of unbridled love, we are not late for delicious discounts on the marketplaces 😉

The packaging of the set is very elegant: it is a complex emerald box with a removable panel in the form of a golden patterned gate, which seems to invite us to Shiz University. On the back of the package - a short history of the characters.
Inside, we see the magical auditorium where Madame Morrible and Elphaba had their classes.
The package includes a stylish double-sided certificate of authenticity and two stylized Wicked doll stands - emerald and gold.
In the promotional photo from Mattel, we saw an exquisite wooden music stand for magic books, and we really hoped that it would also be included in this set, but no 🥹
Both dolls of the set can safely be considered portraits, because they imitate the most striking features of the faces of famous actresses who played these characters in the new bright film-musical of 2024 - "Wicked".
Elphaba was played by the incomparable Cynthia Erivo, and Madame Morrible by the graceful Michelle Yeoh.

The diligent emerald student of the magic class in this set has her signature glasses, just like in the musical☺️ The glasses are plastic, they do not have any special fasteners, so they are held on the doll's face according to the well-known laws of physics😅
Elphaba is incredibly cute in the image of a modest student😍 The combination of emerald skin tone with African-American facial features looks interesting, very expressive and colorful, in our opinion☺️ From different angles, the girl looks fascinating. The signature half-smile, cute freckles, and high-quality, non-pixel make-up, if you can say so - in emerald-nude shades, add charm💚
Elphaba's hair is two-tone afro braids, gathered in a high ponytail and braided into one thick braid. As for the firmware - here we have a new solution from Mattel: the afro braids are not sewn very tightly, but the entire base of the head has a rough texture, because it is sewn with ultra-short curly hair. It looks very interesting
Elphaba holds a bunch of plastic textbooks tied with a green ribbon in her small hands.
The cover cannot be separated into separate books, but the plastic ribbon with a bow can be removed. The creators' attention to detail is very pleasing - the book covers are stylized to look like old leather😍
Another element of Elphaba's educational activity is a coin on a transparent stand, which is attached to the hand and gives the impression that the coin is magically levitating in the air.
You can take out the coin and look at it - it is the currency of the country of OZ 🤩
Of course, you have already noticed how beautiful, elegant and interesting Elfaba's little hands are 😍 Gesture hands with thin fingers, and most importantly - with long nails! 🤩
The outfit of the emerald beauty is modest, but tasteful - an ideal option for studying at a prestigious magical university.
This is a one-piece set that looks like a shirt and sundress.
It should be noted that the materials of the outfit are not elastic, and in combination with the rather narrow sleeves of the shirt, this significantly limits the mobility of the doll.
The shirt has a very interesting collar (the fabric is a little loose, so you can see the threads sticking out). The gloves are nicely gathered at the shoulders, but in our opinion, a little short. Thanks to the narrow cuffs, you will have to fiddle a bit when changing Elphaba, because her gorgeous bones are very reluctant to pass through such a narrow opening.
The striped sarafan is interestingly played by designers, has complex folds on the shelf, and is neatly sewn according to the pattern of the fabric. This monolithic set of clothes is fastened on the back with Velcro.
The outfit is complemented by high-quality mesh leggings with a sewn-in silicone band at the bottom, so that they do not bounce on the legs.
On Elphaba's feet are stylish plastic high-heeled boots with a very complex lacing and fastening system. The sole with sharp corners attracts special attention☺️

It's a delight at first sight😍
An open, kind, smiling face with Asian features will once and for all fall in love with fans of collecting dolls of this type, because the intelligent look of brown eyes will not leave anyone alone, as well as the high-quality, as if transparent, fresh makeup of Mrs. Morrible🌸
It is also noteworthy that we do not see any very noticeable signs of the doll's age, but we understand that it is no longer a young person. Well, maybe the bridge of the nose is a little more visible than it should be and the oval of the face almost coped with gravity... Or maybe it's all just our imagination, because the doll actually looks amazing☺️
Mrs. Morrible's hair is painted in a very elaborate updo and decorated with a gold plastic pin. The non-standard line of stitching hair above the forehead attracts attention☺️
For the first time in the history of reviews, we have not yet raised our hand to disassemble such a chic hairstyle to check the length and condition of the hair from the inside, but we will definitely do it later and report back with additional photos in the review😊
Madame Morrible does not have any special magical accessories other than a shiny gold necklace around her neck. Apparently, her magic is so powerful that Ms. Morrible doesn't even need a magic wand and just casts spells with her bare hands!🤩
By the way, Morrible's hands are just as beautiful and realistic as Elphaba's 😍
Madame Morrible's outfit is distinguished by its sophistication and pomp, but, like Elphaba, all the variety of interesting details are ultimately assembled into one monolithic structure, but we will now look at everything.
The base of the dress is made of dense printed fabric. Neatness of tailoring can be determined by the places where the drawings of individual parts coincide😍
The magic of the image is added by the additional, as if airy, fabric of a soft pistachio shade, which is used to decorate the sleeves, the interesting geometry of the collar and hem of the dress. Of course, the golden thread, which is used to make all the seams of the charming dress, does not escape attention. The dress on the shelf is fastened with Velcro.
As you may have noticed - Mrs. Morrible has blue plastic legs, and this is another new solution from Mattel. Personally, we are not sure that the absolute majority will like it, but we have what we have.
Madame Morrible's look is completed by festive blue and gold tall, detailed heeled boots.
Madame Morrible from this set (and she also exists in a separate edition) has the same articulated body as Elphaba. The same two-part joints in the elbows and knees, movable bones of the hands, immovable lifting feet. We have already discussed blue legs 🤭
Marking of the head and body:
Personally, we decided that the blue legs do not correspond to the planned life of Mrs. Morrible on our doll shelf, so we decided to do our favorite thing - hybridization 😋
